This morning I paddled out with some guys from the local kayak club to Point Dume in Malibu, hoping to see some gray whales now they're migrating back up from mexico. I ended up seeing about 5-6 of them! As the whales work their way up the coast they tend to use peninsulas like this as reference points to guide them along their journeys. On the way back to shore I found myself in the middle of a feeding frenzy of dolphin and sea lions. Nice day on the water.
